Super cute back area of a chocolate shop with sit down tables for a nice cup of rich hot chocolate! They have finger sandwiches and macarons and other desserts too! Each time I come the service is great and the hot chocolate is so good here!

My first afternoon tea in NYC and it was as good as the ones in London ! The set menu proposes unlimited tea or coffee, a soup of a day, an assortment of sandwiches, cakes and chocolates of course ! It worths the price ($70 per person) I ordered the mochachino with dark chocolate. It was amazing ! I will love to go again and try more delicious pastries !

Feeling a little luxurious? Check out afternoon tea at MarieBelle's Cacao Bar! Imagine this: Unlimited tea or coffee, traditional scones with jam and Devonshire cream, and an array of savory bites like salmon with dill cream cheese, endive salad with blue cheese and walnuts, ham with Gruyère cheese, beet hummus with cucumber, and butternut squash with balsamic vinaigrette. There's even a seasonal soup to warm your soul. And if that isn't enough to tempt you, booking through the Fever app gets you a complimentary mimosa per person! But let's not forget the grand finale--MarieBelle's mini pastries and macarons that are almost too pretty to eat (but trust me, you'll want to!). Elevate your afternoon and pamper yourself with this sophisticated high tea experience. You deserve it!

If heaven was made of chocolate, it would be fashioned like MarieBelle. Booked a table for tea for three on a weekend celebrating life (and electricity) in New York City. So lucky to be able to get a cozy table when the intimate cafe opened at 11 AM. (Tip: They are not so booked early on Friday.) Welcomed by our fabulous host and chocolate sommelier for the experience, Johnny the Troublemaker. What a gem! So kind and so thoughtful. Gave us some fantastic recommendations and adjusted the menu to cater to our every wish. Like a magical chocolate genie. Get the MarieBelle special. A large hot or cold nonalcoholic beverage with your choice of two scones, two ganaches, two madeleines or two macarons. Has gone up from $11 to $15 since last year, but still such a great choice. Definitely get this one if you are not having the afternoon tea tower. Take my advice. You'll thank me later. Started with large Tiffany blue cups of Aztec hot chocolate so thick that you could eat/drink it with your spoon. The best seller for a reason. Decadently delicious and worth the hype. The oat and traditional scones with clotted cream and orange marmalade were so good. Reminded me of high tea when I worked in Europe many birthdays ago. The little glass dishes for the marmalade and clotted cream were so cute. The tea sandwiches were so adorable and so unique. Salmon and dill cream cheese. Beet hummus with cucumber. Endive salad with walnuts and blue cheese. Butternut squash with balsamic vinaigrette. Gruyere toasted with no ham. The ganaches were a nice bonus as was the Happy Birthday to "mom and dad" mini chocolate lava cake. Make a wish!! Truly an unexpected treat. Make a reservation if you are going on the weekend. Ask for Johnny the Troublemaker. He will treat you like a VIP. Thanks also to my fabulous Houston (via Queens) CM Jandito for always guiding me to hidden treasures that really make it Sweet to be Elite!!
